16 While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, he was greatly distressed to see that the city was full of idols. 17 So
he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing
Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who
happened to be there. 18 A
group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to dispute with him.

O God, thank you for
Jesus, the Christ, who came into the world and suffered for my sake.
Thank you for his resurrection and victory over death--the validation

my heart, feed my spirit, stimulate my mind, and care for my body.
Help me to grow in my understanding and experience of the salvation
and hope Christ brings. Give me the wisdom and the skill to share and
communicate my faith with others in thoughtful and meaningful ways.
