as he needs. Take an omer for each person you have in your tent.' " 17 The Israelites did as they were told; some gathered much, some little. 18

Response and Action:
need to trust God one day at a time. I need to be faithful to follow
him and trust that he will be faithful to care for me. When I find
myself grumbling or stressed out, I want to examine my heart and ask God
to strengthen my faith. I want to be careful to notice and remember
the many ways God has brought me this far. I can take time for rest and
for worship because I trust God to provide for my needs.
God, help me to love you with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Help me to trust you for my needs one day at a time. Give me a heart
and mind that are at peace. Protect me from discouragement, and
encourage me by your Spirit through your word, your people, your
promises, and all that is beautiful and true. Through Christ, I pray.
